What to Wear

Our outfits for Disneyland always have to be COMFORTABLE. With lots of walking/wrangling kids involved, the more comfy we are, the better. That said, below is our typical Disney day wear by season.

FALL/WINTER from November-March (tempatures are typically in the mid-50 to mid-60’s/low 70’s)

Jeans with either a short sleeve top and a jacket OR with a sweater/crew neck sweatshirt (our fave). We always have a jacket with us for mornings & evenings as temps tend to be pretty chilly during those times of the day! We’re also big fans of overalls & jumpsuits! These aren’t always the best option if you plan to wear a baby through your entire trip, especially when you have to use the restroom…not so easy. Ha! And surprise, surprise – we usually wear hats! Beanies are especially great this time of year because COLD.

SHOES – We love New Balanace shoes! Our favorites are 574’s, 501’s & 620’s – So many cute color options (more than what was linked to those) and most importantly, they’re very comfortable! Amazon has some great deals on New Balance shoes. We also both love our Vans Sk8-Hi Slim shoes – they’ve always been comfortable for us!

Rainy days – jeans, crew neck sweatshirt or long sleeve, rain jacket/coat, beanies/hats & rain boots with thick socks! We also bring a change of socks & an extra shirt.

SPRING/SUMMER (April-October – October is not Summer, but it is usually pretty warm)

Shortalls (is that even what they’re called?!) are always a favorite! Tank tops, short sleeves, jumpsuits, casual midi dresses, jean shorts or jeans, large brimmed hat (Brixton “Joanna” hat is our favorite) and baseball hats! We also always bring an extra shirt for warm days and we suggest bringing a light sweater for evenings JUST in case.

SHOES – we usually wear our new balance shoes, but bring sandals just in case our feet get hot! For a comfortable flip flop, we like Havaianas. Our favorite kiddo shoes are Native Shoes. They are comfortable, can get wet, and no blisters!

Our favorite places to shop – Target, Madewell, Roolee Boutique, H&M, Forever 21, Gap, Ascot and Hart, Zara and Asos.

We always have sweatshirts with us for evenings, even during Summer, just in case!
