If you’re looking to stay at a Hotel that is a close distance from the parks, but doesn’t have the price tag that the Disney Hotels have, Disneyland has got you covered! Read on!
It’s no question that the 3 Disney hotels, The Disneyland Hotel, Paradise Pier Hotel & The Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, are the most magical places to stay, but they can also be a bit pricey, especially if you plan to stay multiple nights. The good news is, the parks are surrounded by LOTS of other great hotel options called “Good Neighbor Hotels.”
Disneyland has compiled a list of their 40 Good Neighbor Hotels along with a map layout of all the hotel locations! Each hotel listed gives the location & distance from the parks (many within walking distance), along with transportation information from the hotels to the parks (free shuttle services offered for some). Vacation packages are also available with good neighbor hotels!
Personally, we love the Courtyard Marriot (has a water park and amazing view of the Matterhorn and fireworks!), Howard Johnson (also has a water park!), The Grand Legacy at the Park & Fairfield Inn by Marriott. They’re really nice and conveniently located right across the street from the east side of the parks on S. Harbor Blvd.
