Big News! Brands New Hotel Coming to the Disneyland Resort in 2021!

IMG_2948Friends! We have some big, exciting news to share! A brand new 700-room hotel will be coming to the Disneyland Resort in 2021!

The Disney Parks Blog states that this new hotel will “feature a sophisticated design and be a game-changer for Anaheim, creating a dynamic dining, entertainment and hotel experience for resort visitors and local residents. Extensive landscaping and water elements will create a resort oasis, showcasing nature on every level of the hotel.” Sounds AMAZING, right?! The new hotel will connect all four Disneyland Resort Hotel grounds together, which we think will be awesome.

A few more exciting things about this new hotel include a Monorail loading zone inside the hotel (like they used to have at the Disneyland Hotel), views of Downtown Disney and a lounge and restaurant for guests to view Disneyland fireworks – yes, please. But that’s not all! The ground level of the new hotel will feature places to shops and restaurants! Construction is set to start sometime next year (2018). Check out some artist renderings from the Disney Parks Blog below!

Another exciting thing that we mentioned a few months back, but we’ll post about again just in case anyone missed it, is the new parking structure that will be where the current Pinocchio parking area is (located next to the Mickey & Friends parking structure). This structure is supposed to improve the traffic and parking situation by providing plenty more parking spaces and more lanes to access the lot. Construction is also set to start next year and the structure is due to open in 2019 ((just in time for Star Wars Land)!

We’re really excited about all of this and will continue to share updates here on our blog as more become available!
