Marvel Universe Live! Age of Heroes

FullSizeRender.jpg-8Marvel-loving friends, ASSEMBLE! On Friday night, we were able to attend opening night of “Marvel Universe Live! Age of Heroes!” at the Staples Center in LA. We thoroughly enjoyed the show! We definitely think Marvel fans of all ages will love it.

The show features over 25 Marvel characters, very exciting stunts and acrobatics, and an action-packed storyline. The story goes that Nebula, the adopted daughter of intergalactic warlord, Thanos (also sister to Gamora, one of the Guardians of the Galaxy), steals the “Wand of Watoomb,” a wand that Loki, Asgardian villain and brother to Thor, is after! If the wand gets into the hands of Loki, he will get what he has always wanted, to become ruler of of Asgard AND Earth. GASP! Never fear though, Doctor Strange, Spiderman, the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers work together to help fight off evil and find and destroy the Wand of Watoomb. Even if your little ones have no clue what’s happening (like ours – haha), it’s still very entertaining!

The show is about 2 hours long with an intermission.

The souvenirs and snacks were kinda really amazing! This $15 cotton candy (we know, expensive, but sometimes we turn into super hero moms and buy all the things – not really…haha) came with a Captain America mask (other options also available).

Also, we did our best to capture the show with our phones while wrangling little ones, so forgive the low quality photos! Just trust us when we say you have to SEE this show in person to fully appreciate it!

Our favorite part of the show was Spiderman! It was like watching real-life Spidey in action!

Hulk’s debut was the highlight for our kids, and it happened toward the end of the show – haha! They stayed up way past their bed times to see this moment! 🙂

  1. We just saw it today…and yes, it was awesome! Not sure who loved it more, my 4-year-old, or my husband!
