Bun Maternity: Review

Happy Tuesday, Mamas!

For any of you who might be planning your trip to Disney with a nursing little one, we have something VERY exciting to share with you! Have you heard of Bun Maternity? If not, you’re about to. In the way of some some serious praises, people.

Both Emily and I have nursed our babies all throughout Disneyland – from when they were teeny tiny newbies to wiggly toddlers. I personally have been attached to a baby, whether pregnant or nursing, for the past six (SIX!) years. We have tested SO many different nursing tops – some functional, but not cute. Some cute, but not functional. Enter, BUN MATERNITY. This amazing company has a whole host of nursing and maternity friendly clothing – ALL made in the USA. I am so excited to share a few of my favorites with you!

FIRST UP. I do not exaggerate when I say that the Cozy Nursing Hoodie might be my favorite nursing-specific clothing item that I’ve ever tried! It is super soft, so comfortable, not too thick, and perfectly casual-stylish. Not oversized, but not too tight and it washes well. I’ve worn it DAYS in a row. DAYS, people. Did you hear that?!

I just got another to give to a dear friend who recently had her second baby and I cannot wait for her to use it! I LOVE this hoodie. Comes in four great colors: black (that I am wearing), blue, marsala, and grey (shown below).

The next item that I love is this swing tank, shown below. It comes in four great colors and is soft, flowy and flattering on all body types. I especially appreciate the draping of this top for my evidence-of-a-miracle-but-softer-than-ever-before post-partum belly! And Mack appreciates it because…you know, super easy access to food. Haha!

Next up is this nursing poncho. Ponchos aren’t typically my thing, but the buttery soft fabric and breezy feel of this one is changing my opinion! My kids have never enjoyed having their heads covered up while nursing. Instead of feeling cozy and protected, they all tended to freak out when I tried to fully shield them. SO, I LOVE that this poncho gives you the option to either cover, or uncover, so to speak! It has a built in, loose-fitting tank underneath that made nursing a wiggly one really easy.  This piece was fun to use and wear and you can never go wrong with not-so-basic black.

Lastly, I found this nursing wrap below to be functional, light-weight, and breathable so it could even be worn on a warm day.  Button and loop closures change the shape of it so you can wear it three different ways, and adjust easily to nurse. WIN!
