We’ve been updating everyone over the past couple months about Pirates of the Caribbean re-opening (finally) on March 16, but guess what other fun comes along with the ride’s return? We’ll tell ya! To celebrate the 50th anniversary of this beloved attraction, guests will get to enjoy special pirate-themed eats at French Market Restaurant, Mint Julep Bar, Harbour Galley, Royal Street Veranda, Cafe Orleans and the Blue Bayou Restaurant (all in New Orleans Square).

Ready for the best part? Starting Friday, March 17, AND on the actual pirate’s anniversary, Saturday March 18, there will be pirate-themed entertainment throughout New Orleans Square with the Bootstrappers and Lucky the Pirate AND visits from CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW starting 3/18 – HELLO! Yes please! There will also be limited-edition anniversary merchandise available in New Orleans Square! Keep your eyes peeled for even more exciting surprises on March 18th! Can’t wait.
